We were briefed by the Premier’s Office to develop a visual identity  for an evening where 30 of Sydney’s top cultural venues (museums, galleries, historical buildings) were open to the public for one night only until midnight.

We were also tasked to develop the associated print collateral, with a brief to ‘convey the culturally festive nature of the event’ to a diverse audience.

The first step in our design strategy was to create a new name for the event and develop logotypes – an extensive selection of which were presented along with documentation of our thought processes.

The final brand identity was so well received by the client that it was executed across a much wider range of applications than the original brief had outlined. The result was an evening that was a huge success with every venue filled to capacity.
